Fenwick Island

Approximately four miles south of South Bethany, along much of what is state park land, is the town of Fenwick. A mixture of single family homes, townhomes and townhome/condominiums, Fenwick is a remnant of what was once a barrier island – hence the more common name, Fenwick Island. Very narrow and no more than four blocks wide, Fenwick has many restaurants and eclectic shops along its Route 1 center. The beaches are beautiful and less crowded. West of the highway is mostly waterfront, boating and fabulous canal and bay views. Fenwick's southern boundary is Route 54 and Ocean City, MD.
