A Life-Changing Decision
After receiving her Business Economics degree from Randolph Macon, Leslie and three friends back-packed over much of Europe. As a youth, Leslie was heavily involved with horses and horse shows in Virginia, and had little time for the beach. After returning from Europe, she decided to visit Bethany Beach before job hunting. She never left.
While working part-time at a beach stand and waiting tables to pay the bills, a friend suggested Leslie try real estate. It was a terrible time to start, and awful market. Perhaps it was fate, and probably a little luck as well, but Leslie sold her first house her first week on the job. It was the best decision she ever made.
