And so a new year comes! I hope you had a festive holiday season and that 2008 brings to you and your family all the joys that one could wish.

2007 was a better year for real estate in Bethany than probably all of us expected and certainly better than 2006. There were 123 sold properties in our market for 2007 compared to 107 in 2006, an increase of 15%. I attribute the improvement to the fact that prices dropped steadily through the year and reaching general equilibrium. I will communicate further on today’s price comparisons with previous years in coming weeks.

For me, it was a very good year. I reached $80 million in sales, up from $58 million in 2006. Part of this 38% increase was certainly a result of my increased advertising into the weaker market. Most important, however, were the referrals from so many of you, for which I am deeply appreciative. Thank you.
