As the Sales Manager, Christi Arndt is a licensed Realtor that also oversees the business operations, leads our marketing efforts and keeps the group as well as our clients up-to-date with the latest market analysis. Christi brought with her more than 10 years of Sales, Marketing and Management experience, having worked for Carl M. Freeman Companies from 2003 to 2013. While working full-time, Christi earned an MBA from Wilmington University and enjoyed teaching evening business classes at Wor-Wic Community College for four years.
Christi was quick to implement new technology and marketing efforts that have positively impacted the group's productivity and strengthened sales results. Christi has family ties to Fenwick Island that span 5 generations and her favorite activities are those that take place on the beach or on a boat with her family and friends.
A native of Washington DC, Kiki’s first career was traveling the world for Northwest Airlines. She moved to Minnesota in 1994, working in marketing before turning to high-end real estate for seven years and then returning to her first love, Bethany Beach, in 2009.
Kiki spent her summers in Bethany Beach while she was growing up and even while living in Minnesota, she managed to spend almost two months at the beach in Delaware each year. Kiki first worked as an agent at Prudential Gallo and later formed her own brand, Kiki at the Beach. In her first year, she sold $1 million and she sold $11 million in the second year. Even with her continued growth, Kiki saw Leslie's offer to join her group as a huge opportunity and has been instrumental in bring new technology and a greater web presence to the organization.
An avid runner, and world traveler when she gets a little free time, Kiki lives in South Bethany Beach with Minnde, her yellow Lab.
Following 10 years in commercial real estate in Southern California, Wayne, a 5th generation Fenwick Islander, has been selling in our beach market for over 15 years. He joined The Leslie Kopp Group in July of 2011. With over 500 homes sold and sales exceeding $100 million, Wayne is a consistent top performer just behind Leslie at Long and Foster. Wayne brings added experience to the Bethany-Fenwick area’s top performing real estate group.
Wayne's attraction to the Leslie Kopp group evolved from his own dedication to satisfying the customer. He is particularly impressed with the support team behind Leslie and continues to keep them even busier.
Wayne spends his free time with his son and daughter, enjoying the sand and surf, and he has a growing passion for photography.
When her apartment building in Washington DC converted to condominiums, the lenders asked Despina to help them with other conversions and a bright real estate career began. She relocated to Bethany Beach in 1986 to market and sell at Kings Grant in Fenwick Island before joining Carl Freeman, and later Josh Freeman, in oceanfront re-sales and new construction at Sea Colony.
In 2010, Despina was her former company’s top sales agent with volume close to $11 million. In 2011, she worked part-time so that she could be the primary caregiver to her mother and husband. She returned to work full-time and joined The Leslie Kopp Group in August of 2012. She appreciates not only the dedicated advertising and research for her clients, but also to the office support system which makes Leslie Kopp’s customer service reputation second-to-none.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Despina lives in Sea Colony with her two cats, Tiggy and Zee. Like her real estate experience, her interests are diverse, including crosswords, movies, ballet, opera and symphony.
Despina Kaneles, our current Sea Colony specialist looks forward to working closely with her long-time friend and former colleague, Gail. Born and raised in Lewes, Delaware, Will is very familiar with the beach and it’s real estate. His father was a real estate agent for 20+ years with a local agency, so it only felt natural for him to follow in those footsteps. He is a graduate of University of Delaware with a B.S in Business Administrations with a Specialty in Management. After working in the banking industry for 3 years, he decided it was time to come home to pursue the career he is truly passionate about.
In his free time, Will enjoys weightlifting and spending time with his family and Great Danes on their horse farm.
Lisa Bennett makes sure that everything works! Once an offer to buy is final, Lisa manages a smooth transition to closing, ensuring that all deadlines and details are met precisely and on time.
Lisa is licensed and joined our group in 2001. Lisa and her English Labrador HOS live in Ocean View. HOS is so special to her that he joins her at work many days!
Growing up in Central Pennsylvania, Amanda’s parents brought her family to Bethany Beach every year for vacation. After graduating from Bloomsburg University with a BA in Communication Studies, she decided to make the beach her home in 2004.
Amanda is licensed and joined our group in April 2011 as Administrative Assistant and has become our point person for handling the many details of Listings. She has also taken a leadership role in updating and maintaining the website. Her rambunctious daughter doesn’t leave a lot of time for outside activities. Still, Amanda finds time to keep up with professional sports and managing her fantasy teams.
Marianne Gold, is licensed and is the most recent addition to our office staff. She joined our group in March 2015 as Office Administrator and brings over 15 years of collective experience in human resources, business administration and marketing management. She earned her MBA degree from the University of Baltimore in 2009 and acquired a variety of skills while working in a number of industries including healthcare, clinical research and the public sector. In her spare time, Marianne enjoys aerobics, kayaking, oil painting and spending time on the beach with her family and friends.
Ellen Blocher joined The Leslie Kopp group in 2007. After being involved in the real estate industry for a number of decades, Ellen's writing and interpersonal skills were highly desirable and put to good use. Ellen enjoys her home in Bishops Landing with her White Golden Retreiver "Happy". She keeps our accounting straight and primarily assists Leslie with her personal matters.
