Chris Housman

A native of Maryland who grew up spending summers on the Delaware Beaches, Chris envisioned he would end up back in Bethany.  After earning a degree in communications from Towson University, Chris began his first career in Customer Service with MCI in Hunt Valley, MD.  He soon earned his wings as a Flight Attendant with American Airlines, and logged over 15 million miles traveling to destinations all over the world during his 25 tenure.

Making good on his word of living at the beach, Chris moved to South Bethany as a full-time resident in 2016.  When the pandemic disrupted the airline industry, Chris took the opportunity of time at home to invest in himself, completing his real estate courses and then making the leap into retirement from the airline in order to join the Leslie Kopp Group full time. 

Immediately upon joining the group in 2020, Chris’s passion for real estate coupled with his exceptional customer service led to success.  In his first 5 years, Chris has represented more than 120 clients and his total volume exceeded $80 million.  As a property owner and Realtor, Chris enjoys being able to share his knowledge of the area he adores with others.  Chris enjoys spending time at the beach or on a boat, especially when his dog, Summer, is along for the ride.
