Real estate activity in Bear Trap Dunes picked up nicely in April, but softened some in May with 3 properties going under contract during the month,down from 7 in May of 2015. Sales remained firm in May for Ocean View as a whole.  During the month, 21 single family and condo/townhome properties went under contract, up from 20 during May of last year.

As the chart illustrates, year-to-date sales in Bear Trap Dunes are flat when compared to 2015. Summertime brings added
enthusiasm for real estate at the Delaware beach.

We have finally had a number of beautiful, sun-filled weekends and it is nice to see so many families enjoying our beaches and bays! Real estate activity picked up nicely in April and remained firm in May. During the month, 21 single family and condo/townhome properties
went under contract in Ocean View. This is up from 20 during May of last year.

As the chart below illustrates, year-to-date sales are down some when compared to a very strong 2015, but are up more
than 24% over 2014.

We have finally had a number of beautiful, sun-filled weekends and it is nice to see so many families enjoying the beach and boardwalk! After a slow start to the year, real estate activity as a whole picked up nicely in April and remained strong in May.

During the month, 34 properties went under contract in the Bethany Beach and Fenwick Island area, up from 32 during May of last year. Higher-end inventory started to move last month as 11 of the 34 properties that went under contract were listed for more than $1 million, up significantly from 3 in May of 2015.
