wags witches and warlocks halloween festival bethany beach

The Annual Halloween Festival and Parade “Wags, Witches & Warlocks” will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 in Bethany Beach. Proudly hosted by The Leslie Kopp Group, the event brings families and pets to town for a day of fun while raising money and awareness for the Delaware S.P.C.A.

The parade and costume contest gets under way at 10am. Participants can then enjoy activities such as Halloween crafts for kids and bobbing for tennis balls for the pups. Safely Trick or Treat at the town businesses from 11am until 1pm. For more information, www.WagsWitchesandWarlocks.com.

Ocean View Real Estate Sales

As the graph above illustrates, while real estate sales in Ocean View year-to-date are down some compared to 2015, sales are up compared to each of the 9 years prior to last year. These numbers will improve after September as buyer activity has been exceptionally strong so far this month, with 17 properties put under contract in the first half of the month. This is up from 7 during the same time period one year ago.

At this time, it feels as though we are going to have a very good fall. Many of the buyers we have been working with have gotten serious and in the first 2 weeks of September, we received offers on a number of our Ocean View listings.

August activity was good, with 3 properties going under contract, up from 2 during the same month one year ago. As the graph below illustrates, year-to-date, real estate sales in Bear Trap are down some compared to both 2014 and 2015. It is also the time of year that many buyers start to think about purchasing and many Sea Colony owners begin to explore the idea of listing their home.  Whether buying or selling, Despina and Gail would love to strategize with you about how to get the best results.  So far this year, we have represented the seller in more Sea Colony sales than any other agent or group.        

August activity was mixed, with strong sales on the West and a soft month for the East.  During the month, 8 properties were put under contract on the West, up from 7 in August of last year.  On the East, 3 properties went under contract, down from 7 during the same month last year.
