For much of 2017, we have been communicating to you that the beach real estate market is strong. After many years of price stability, all indications tell us that values are now on the rise.

Beach Property Values on the Rise

Low inventory levels coupled with high buyer activity continues to put upward pressure on prices for much of the market. The median sale price of single family homes and condo/townhomes in 2017 are up 10% and 13% respectively when compared to 2016. While values are still far from the market’s peak in 2006, this recent upward movement is significant.

Westway Drive Restriction

In an effort to enhance the safety of our residents and guests, the traffic that uses Westway Drive between Kent Ave. and Coastal Highway in Sea Colony will be restricted to only those cars displaying Sea Colony parking passes.  This change is effective on or about Wednesday, June 28.  

Any vehicles that do NOT display Sea Colony parking passes will be asked to NOT use Westway Drive, and to make a U-turn.  

The detour will be set every day between the hours of:

7:30 to 9:30 a.m. from Kent Avenue to Coastal Highway
3:30 to 5:30 p.m. from Coastal Highway to Kent Avenue 

Please keep this restriction in mind because there may be delays on Westway during those

A Note from the Sea Colony Rec Association President:

As a result of the recent homeowner and board elections, Phil Drew, Ron Wickwire and I have been reelected to the Sea Colony Rec Association. Further, I have been elected president, succeeding Ron Wickwire, who will continue as a board member but chose not to continue as president.  I am humbled by this election and feel privileged to serve our community.

I  hope you will join me in extending our thanks and sense of indebtedness to Ron Wickwire for his tireless leadership. In two decades as a Board member and president, he has played a critical, leadership role and has achieved incredible results for all of us at Sea Colony. These
