Much progress has been made over the last few months towards bringing Comcast/Xfinity services to Bethany Beach. Comcast continues the work of installing the underground fiber-optic cable throughout Bethany Beach that will bring their full suite of services, including fiber-optic Wi-Fi, to the community. The work is estimated to be completed by late spring of 2022.

Typically, the month of January brings some slow down in real estate activity when compared with warmer months of the year, but we continue to be in a market like never before at the beach. Through multiple snow storms and blizzard conditions, 26 properties went under contract in the Bethany-Fenwick area in January.
