It's almost that time of year when our beaches become more densely populated and our furry friends must remain off the sand and boardwalk.  See below for the pet restrictions for Bethany Beach and surrounding areas!

BETHANY BEACH

  • Dogs must be leashed and curbed at all times in Bethany Beach
  • Dogs are prohibited on the beach and boardwalk from May 15 to Sept 30

SOUTH BETHANY

  • No pets or other animals are permitted from May 15 to Oct 15

FENWICK ISLAND

  • No pets or other animals are permitted on the beach at anytime between May 1 and Sept 30

DEWEY BEACH

  • From the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend through the Sunday following Labor Day, dogs are only permitted on the beach
