Sea Colony West – We Need Inventory
Last month, we reported to you that while many market statistics in Sea Colony West were trending in a negative direction, this did not mean that the market was softening. Low inventory was and continues to be a huge factor!
In the month of October, 5 properties went under contract compared to 14 last year and as the chart illustrates, year-to-date, sales continue to lag behind a strong 2018. Inventory available to buyers is down 41% compared to 2018 –we need new listings! We are thankful to have participated in 39% of real estate transactions to-date in Sea Colony West and we are extremely optimistic about market conditions in your community as we head into 2020!
