Every summer, Ocean City, Maryland becomes the center of the sportfishing world, and 2026 promises to be one of the most exciting years yet. The 53rd Annual White Marlin Open will take place August 3–8, 2026, bringing thousands of anglers, spectators, and fishing enthusiasts together for what is widely known as the world's largest and richest billfish tournament.
This year, tournament organizers have introduced a major change designed to give competitors more flexibility and a better chance to fish favorable conditions offshore.
