Boat Parade Guidelines

1. Boat Numbers

Participants are responsible for creating their own boat numbers. Numbers must:

  • Be at least 6" x 6"
  • Be displayed on both sides of the boat
  • Be clearly visible from shore

Your assigned number will be provided after registration.

2. Know Your Position

Before the parade begins, locate the boat you will follow. You will follow the boat with the number immediately preceding yours.

3. Parade Route

The parade will begin by proceeding down Jefferson Creek Canal (the canal parallel to Canal Road).

4. Staging and Spacing

A kayaker stationed at the entrance to the canal will assist with boat order and spacing. Please follow their directions regarding when to proceed.
